iPod touch Why do I have hundreds of playlists that are the same

Hi,
Every once in a while, I end up with hundreds upon hundreds of the same playlist. Has anyone had the same problem? It's annoying because I have to delete them all, not to mention that it takes my touch forever to load all my playlists now.

Any help would be appreciated and sorry if this should go in iOS forums.
