Making An Avatar?

Questions:
How do I make an Avatar?
How do I resize an image for an Avatar in photoshop?
Where can I get an Avatar?

I used Illustrator to create a single frame but you can open a document in Photoshop for 50 x 50 pixels. Draw what you want. Save it as a .gif. If you want a .gif animation, use ImageReady to create each frame in the same 50 x 50 size and save to a single .gif file.

well, you travel to the far depths of the Amazon and get the silver crystal , you need this to defeat the Avamonger (he eats all the Avatars)........ :D

you get 500 posts on here and you get one, its easy to make one, you could wipe up one in Appleworks or anything you can draw in, make in 50x50 to work in Macrumors (cause thats the limit)

OK, I have the silver crystal, but now the troll under the bridge is asking me for a password. I tried saying "avatar" but then it told me "The princess is in another castle". ;)

Try getting 50 rings and jump into the big ring, collect all of the chaos emeralds and defeat Dr. Ivo Robotnick, then you get one... Simple huh? :D

Yes, but remember that after you beat Dr. Ivo Robotnik, you have to deal with all his clones that burst out of him.
You must find the meat hook under the throne room and put some SPAM on it to move the little guys (they're hungry little mofos) near the cliff.
You then fling the SPAM off and watch the lemmings jump helplessly after it as they burn in the lava pit below.
After that, you have to find the secret passageway and open it with a ring you will find in the handle of the meathook.
Open the door and walk down the passageway until you see the beautiful Princess V handcuffed to her bed.
You must chew the cuffs off to free her, then as she rises from the bed. she will slap you and say 'You were supposed to leave them there!'
You then say 'I'm sorry, I guess I should have noticed all the lace and leather.'
She then will tell you to turn around as she changes out of her dominatrix outfit to a stunning silver dress.
After you turn back around she will present you with a Grand Avatar and sing

while I'm reading this fourm I am confused, maybe that is becuase I am listening to the Sonic Adventure 2 CD Album (completly imported from iTunes of course) How I love listening to music... la la la la la la!

You don't have to read the whole thread, you can just post a message and even a sample of what you're trying to work on and get feedback. Two avatar threads are a little much.

Thanks for the link to gifworks. I'll try it out. I think I'd rather have a way to edit them on my own computer tho. I didn't realize I could just stick in the gif.

BTW, not making an avatar yet as I have to make a lot more posts (on topic).
