Anyone have anything to say about the Shure 535?
I would especially love to hear some opinions from iPod/portable users.

I have them. They're amazing assuming you have a good hear, are listening to uncompressed/lossless audio, and coming from a good source.

I use them on flights all the time and they are great for canceling out noise.

Sounds good - what source do you use?

I own a pair of SE530. Basically, if you can afford them, just get them. Superb audio quality and outstanding sound isolation. Might be even an overkill if you normally listen to music in noisy environments or use lossy formats at low bit rates.

Just be aware that these headphones are on the balanced side, bass heads should move along.

I think the Weston 4's are better. But with that said it sure is subjective.

I've owned a pair for over a year now. I use them everyday, and the I've adapted to the very good sound quality. Downside is, they make lower priced earphones sound like crap...
