I am looking for a powermac G4. I don't have a lrager budget up to about $400 I would like to get a quicksilver but I could settle for others as well. If you have something that fits my wants email me at ahemke(at)gmail(dot)com.Thanks for reading this.

You pronanly cant get a quicksilver for 400 nut you could get the following.

I'd go for a Sawtooth on Ebay, and use whatever is left for a CPU upgrade. Another choice would be a B&W (which you can get for under $100 now) and a Daystar 600 MHz G4 upgrade for $200. Use the other $100 to max out the RAM.

Or if you watch things close enough, or save up 100, you could score a new Mini. Though in your case, you want a Powermac. You will probably only be able to get a Gigabit Ethernet with that much. I know I spent 200 on my Blue and White 2 years ago, then 2 months ago I dropped another 150 into it and bought me a Yikes G4 and a Radeon 7000. So far, I estimate that I've dropped about 600 or so into my Mac. Though, it does what I want it to do nicely. Its pretty snappy with Tiger. ;)
