I still remember ThinkSecret saying what a joke seeing iMac G5's at WWDC last year would be, not to mention how it was going to be a huge thermal challenge.

The only reason they didn't was a shortage of chips.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see something, at the least a release date for the PowerBook G5.

*If* the Intel rumor is true, I doubt there'll ever be a Powerbook G5. No point in putting further R&D into it just to junk it in 18 months.

They are just having too much thermal problems to come out with a PowerBook G5. Tomorrow should explain a lot.

like mentioned all over these forums, if "we" switch to intel then you wont even be seeing a g5 pb.

but when questioned, jobs said no they are not switching.

guess we will all know tomorrow
