Probably a stupid question....
If I have my powerbook closed, is there any way for it to continue playing songs in iTunes through external speakers? I know it goes into sleep mode but is there a way of keeping it on even though the screen is shut?
Thanks for any help!

Plug in a USB mouse. This will wake up a PowerBook in clamshell mode. Not sure if you can wake a clamshelled PowerBook from a Bluetooth mouse...

Even if you find a way to do it I'm not sure it's wise, since iTunes use a fair amount of CPU and memory thus generating quite some heat. Heat that in part should ventilate trough the keyboard. The risk of overheating the PB is definitively there... (well, it would probably go just fine, but know the risk... ;))

While I have never been comfortable using a powerbook in clamshell mode (heat issues), it doesn't seem to bother Apple any.

I think you need more then just a USB keyboard to make it work, you also need a mouse and external display.
