I have for sale an iPod Mini 6GB Silver (2G). Comes with a Carbon colored iPod Mini Skin (iSkin). It is in perfect shape, and was hardly used at all. I am selling because I would rather use the money on something for my Car Stereo.

I am looking to get about $230 shipped, let me know if you are interested (the iSkin is $25 shipped if you buy on eBay).

Comes like new in box, with all accessories, most of them unopened.

I will trade for a Shuffle + Cash.

You can get a new 6gb iPod for $230 from Apple w/ EDU discount. Yes, you're throwing in a (used) $25 extra, but that's, what, maybe $15 of extra value? I'm not 100% sure what a used 6gb mini is going for nowadays, but I'm guessing closer to $200 than $230 or even $215.

Just my thought as to why you're not seeing as much response as you may like. I'm not getting many hits on my stuff, either so maybe people are saving their pennies for after WWDC?

Just a thought. If' I had the extra cash I'd make you an offer, but as it is, I'm trying to sell off some unused gear as well to grab a Shuffle.

I figured $230 shipped was fair because:

A) No sales tax. $230 at Edu store + about $15-20 dollars in tax.
B) No iSkin. Sure its "used", but I guarantee if you bought a brand new one, you couldn't tell the difference.
C) Comes with everything in the box packed as if it were new.

I'm not arguing that your asking price isn't fair. It's not a BAD price, but it also isn't a great deal. With WWDC coming up there may be some unexpected new hot item or a price drop in some current product that people are waiting for. You may not have had any 'bites' becuase of a combo of this.

I see you got an offer of $175, which I would say is low, but maybe illustrates my point a little. Someone may jump on a great deal right now, but probably not on a fair or decent price... Maybe later next week we will both have better luck selling some of our stuff. :)

I am going to be honest, right now a lot of people are not wanting to buy a used iPod Mini at that price because
1) WWDC is close,
2) It is probably a month or two old and tech support is gone
3) Used is used, with iPods that is a big deal, it will have some cosmetic differentials and why not just pay the same price + 10 dollars for a brand new one(tax is closer to 10 dollars)
4) the factor is that mini really does not have that much size on it.
5) it is not a bad deal if u think u about it, but as ebay customer and seller, u have to take into account that there are 20 gb ipods selling on ebay below that price.
6) I think you probably be asking around 200-210 shipped just because that is a price where u can say, i am giving u a good price and that u know that the buyer is only trying to take advantage of ur trying to sell. sell it on ebay if u cant sell it here
good luck

good point, supposedly there may really be a video iPod in the works and that would rock or they just may make the iPod Photo's price better

Forgot to add: I bought a Firewire Charging Cable (as opposed to the USB2.0 that all Minis come with).

That is included, cost me $13.

I am putting it on eBay now.

Ok, thank you ???

This iPod has BOTH FireWire and USB 2.0 Cables. I am not selling an original, so why would I care if the originals came with a FireWire?
