I was trying different shortcuts combinations last night on my MBP look for one in particular, when suddenly I pressed CTRL-OPT-ESC and the following message appeared:

"Time Profiling Stopped"

When I pressed it again it said:

"Time Profiling System"

Anybody have a clue about what this is?

Thanks!

Wow! I see nobody else experience this.

Anyways, after updating to 10.7.3 I can no longer replicate. I could have been something the developers used for testing and forgot to remove for the released version.

Thanks anyway.

Not sure what it is, but I stumbled onto it too today.

When it happened to me, I was prompted for my Administrator password, and if I cancelled out it kept coming up. Not sure what is is/was, or if it's still running.
