...4000+ people online and not a 'server busy' message to be seen yet.
...course this will probably jinx it

Bravo!
Arn never did tell us what KIND of servers we're running on.

Yup, still got over 2000 on the boards, and it's running as well as ever.
Good work Arn.

I'd almost forgotten all about it, everything was so smooth on the forums side  Indeed, looks like the extra boxes were a worth while investment.

It was nice to be able to post, and view messages during the keynote, as well as after the keynote.
Kudos!

OK, Keira looks like she's been drinking in the newest picture.
Yes, it's my job to give you a hard time.

It was nice to be able to read/post during the keynote and not have everything lock up like times past. Nicely done, thanks to all who host/run and administer/moderate these boards. Great community, thanks again.

Duff-Man says...servers get an "A" for handling the load...members get a "D" for not paying attention and creating too many useless duplicate threads....oh yeah!

I concur with everyone else, the servers handled the load very well. Not a bad investment. Good job, MacRumors! :)
And certainly infinitely better than what happened to my site! Our server got knocked down before the keynote even began! (We've been moved to a more robust server since then.)
