Fixfox 9 Horrible, I want 8 Back How?

i have gone back to 8 a few times but when I had a spinning cursor, I quit firefox 8 and when I restarted. I got an update to 9 WITHOUT MY CONSENT... Any one know where I can get 8?
Everything I click on goes to 9 no matter what the hell it says.
I hate the designers of Firefox.??????😱

You can download previous versions of Firefox from here.

Apps for Mac OS

Then turn off the auto updates.

And then go into Firefox preferences/advanced/update and turn off updates.

you might even be better moving to ff 10 (the beta). I've been using it for weeks and its very stable.
