Don't think buying brand new dual 2.7 is best for me, so I'm looking for a dual 2.5.

Anyone have one for sale?

Mine is possibly for sale ... PM me if you don't need it right away. I've got a dual 2.5 refurb with 9600XT WI-FI, 1.5G of ram, 160GB + 300GB drive(s) and running Tiger. It's a monster and a little bit of an over kill for my projects right now. :(

I'd hate to part with it, but i could use the cash from a sale and a downgrade.

I might consider selling mine. It has 2 GB of memory, wifi, bluetooth, 2x250 GB disks, 8x superdrive and Tiger. I also have a 512MB stick of memory, so with one more stick you could go to 3 GB. I have the ati9600xt graphics card (128 MB vram). I have a 20" Alu cinema display, as well, but I'm not sure it would be worth selling.

What kind of price did you have in mind?

Wow, thanks for the offers...

I forgot to specify I seriously need bluetooth.

I'd have to go with prices below $2,699 (sorry, I can get the dual 2.7 for that, educational pricing). I wouldn't mind stock dual 2.5 with bluetooth for a bit lower than $2,699. Say, $2,400 to $2,500? But if it's decked out with RAM, bluetooth, wifi, etc. I'm willing to pay higher. daveL, I'm interested, do you think somewhere around $2800, $2900 is fair? PM me if so. I don't need 2x250 GB, but that's nice to have.

neut - I don't need it right away. I still have to find a job to pay for all of this (luckily I can get money now, but it's still a lot of money and I like to take time thinking about it anyway).

you can always get a d-link external bluetooth adapter. I use one on my G5 and it works very well; the only problem is a bug where I can't use BT mouse and KB to wake from sleep (if I turn on the option in System Prefs the machine won't go to sleep at all).

That's precisely why I insist on an internal bluetooth module. My PowerBook has it and I can wake it up and stuff no problems with the internal module.

MacCoaster, I've decided not to sell, sorry. I think I'm better off just keeping it as long as possible. It does everything I need it to do quite well, and I can't think of anything I'd want to replace it with.

That's understandable. :) You'll enjoy your dual 2.5 for a long time as much as I will enjoy my dual 2.5/2.7. :)
