sorry about this!

but i installed SharePoints to get my PB communicating with my Xbox, which works all fine and dandy. and this is the first time ive tried but i cant see any other computer on my Powerbook using my wireless network. this certainly worked in Panther, but i havnt tried seeing my network other than using the internet on Tiger.

all my PC's can see each other, be they wired or wireless. just my Mac sits alone now.

also my PC's can connect to the PB no problem.

help :)

ps. Xbox cannot communicate to the internet, although ive told it to send the internet through LAN. so really in a nutshell my PB can only connect to the internet.

*bump*

something new to the table; if i make AppleTalk active on Airport then for a split second the 'Workgroup' and another new folder pop up in the Networks folder in Finder. but they soon vanish. i also dont think Sharepoints is to blame as ive deactivated the SMB shares but the problem persists. help again?
