Is it possible to play the songs on an iPod through your computer? If so, can this be done with the Windows version of the iPod?

Yes, it's possible on the Mac, via iTunes.

I don't know if the MusicMatch player supports this. You might want to check the iPod or MusicMatch pages for info.
