Question: What are the clips on the PowerBook Power Adaptor for?

The two clips that flip out on the back of the PowerBook power adaptor, what are they for?

Winding excess cable around to keep it out of the way? I don't bother personally.

There might be other uses but I can't think of any.

Duff-Man says...I always keep my excess power cable wrapped around the clips...keeps things a bit tidier around my desk at work, especially when I have 2 or 3 other laptops there that I am working on....to me it is just another one of those "little things" that Apple does to set them apart from the generic PC manufacturers...oh yeah!

They are very useful when you want to chuck the power adapter into your bag. The cable clip means that the adapter is very tidy.
