Just a quick question, asking is a 2010 air's ssd will fit and work properly in a 2011 air, as I'm trying to upgrade my drive to a 256gb one without paying 8394323 dollars and may have found a ok deal:D

Yes they are the same connector.

BUT-the 2011 Air has SATA3 connection to the SSD, so if you buy a new fast (but expensive ) SATA 3 SSD you will enjoy much greater performance. But if you're just looking for more space, yes it will fit.

yes, they 100% do......as this is what I did! Got the 11" i7 128gb model, bought the 2010 13" ultimate off ebay for a good price, switched the ssd's and then sold the 13" on again. I've done it 3 times (twice with my airs and once with my brothers). Made a profit of £30 the first time (!!), then the 2nd and 3rd time made about £50 and £65 loss, but that's still loads cheaper than paying apple for the 256GB
