A few years back, WorldMarket sold an assortment of canned Indian foods that I really liked. They eventually phased these out in favor of the standard "squeeze-bag" items you see on supermarket shelves. I preferred the cans, though, not least because it came in 15-oz sizes instead of 10 or 11 ounces. Randalls also had a line of canned Indian foods that it too phased out. Even the local ethnic grocery stores seem to have pulled this move on me.

Anybody have any leads on where I can track down the canned stuff?

Where do you live? Have you tried online stores?

Indian food isn't that hard to make at home.....although I guess that isn't strictly relevant to your problem.😉

Patak's is a pretty good commercial brand of Indian food (it comes in jars and tins) readily found in the UK and Ireland (but I'm not sure whether or not it is available in the US).
