Need ideas for what do do with eMac internals

Hey guys.

My eMac has a bad CRT, so I stripped it down today and removed everything but the CRT. I'd like to find an enclosure that will be cool to house the logic board and other parts. Any ideas?

Also, how would I get power to the logic board? The PSU is housed under the CRT and would be a bitch to take out xD

You're wasting your time. eMacs should be recycled at this point.

Other people have done it as well, just Google "Headless eMac"

It looks like a lot of work, but if you're handy and adventurous, it can be done, here's another one with info on what he used for a power switch:

Certainly not if they still function properly.

But when parts start failing and can't be replaced...

I know what you can do with the speakers

These speakers sound great even without the eMac

There from a non-working 700MHz eMac.

Already did that with a small amp and a 3.5mm jack for my iPod! Theyre great
