Can I switch to quad-core in an older Macbook?

I have an older MB, late 08 unibody, which has a dual core processor. I was wondering if I could switch out the processor for a quad core one, or is that impossible?
 
It is impossible. The CPUs are stuck on the motherboard. You'll just have to buy a new computer to get the quad-core goodness.
