Is there a difference in quality and size between the iMac 20" G5 display and the 20" cinema display? It just seems like the 20" display is so much larger than the iMac G5 display.

There is no size difference. Both displays are 20 viewable inches. There are however, some quality differences. The ACD is brighter. Since the display response time is not listed on the iMac, I am not sure if it is slower than the ACD, which has a pixel response time of 16 ms. Both, however, have the same viewing angles.

You also (probably) have a better graphics card behind the cinema display then the stock one of the iMac.
