I tried loading a DVD onto my Macbook and i'm getting an error message that says DVD encountered a system error nilP i've never seen this before? I've tried other DVD's and i get the same error message. Has anyone ran into this?

i'm on version 10.5.8 with 1 GB of ram and my model identifier is MacBook 2,1

i'm using the internal optical drive, I'm unsure how to get to VLC Player ?
