Two 60-giggers (formatted down to about 57+ each) and one 37-gigger (formatted down to about 34).

I use the two larger disks for my video stuff, and my smaller one for OSes (divided into two 17's each, one for 9.2.2 and the other for 10.2.1). The latter has stuff like my .MP3s, personal web page stuff I'm working on, and my Quicken financial records.

Discovered two things this week: that my Sony Spressa CD-RW won't work under osX and I'm down to 970mb on my 10gb iBook hard drive.

Been looking for a nice portable 30gb drive, but... why bother if I get a another Mac (this time, an iMac), and stick the large programs (Photoshop 7, Carrara Studio 2) on it?

My G3 started off with a 4 gig drive. I bought an 18 gig drive to add to it once I started getting into serious gaming, and then replaced the 4 gig drive with an 80 gigger once I started to play with video editing... all internal.

WD 540 MB, Maxtor 1.2, WD and Maxtor 2x2.5, WD 3, Maxtor 5400 RPM 6, Maxtor 7200 10, Seagate 7200 40, IBM 7200 120 GB (all IDE, considerably less after formatting). I think the 540 MB and 3 GB are dead, though. Can't wait for that WD or IBM 180-200 GB "Drivezilla". Then a couple of Maxtor 320 GB + Serial ATA bad boys (even if they are "only" 5400 RPM). And when they make them, a ~100 GB notebook drive (if I get a notebook).

And I usually fill them within a few months.

Can't believe I used to think the 2 GB drive in my old Performa 6400 was so huge.

Heh, this is another one of those "my ***** is bigger than your *****" things, isn't it? In that case, I've a 360Gb RAID (3 120 gb 7200rpm drives striped).

-2GB IBM SCSI Drive
-3.2GB 5400RPM Seagate Drive
-10GB iBook Drive
-60GB 7200RPM Maxtor Drive
-80GB 7200RPM Maxtor Drive

So...

2 20Gig Internals
1 120Gig FW External (Lacie) - formatted, down to about 115G.

thats in 1 box, the other has 60Gig Internal. The FW drive is very quick once it has focus. Spin up can be a second or two. No problems with it.

21.7GB from about 30GB on my Cube

Less than 10GB on my iBook and iMac.

It varies.
First it was 20GB, then it was 80GB, then it was 80+20GB, then it was back to 20GB, now it's @80 again and will probably soon be 20+80.

G4 400 PCI with an IBM 120GB ATA/100 off my Sonnet Tempo ATA/100 controller and the stock 20GB ATA/33 on the internal bus. Enough to last me for another few years at least!

I just wanted to be honest in my response! Thought it was a way for Mac users to know what is in current use. :)

Pair-o-80's, plus and external 80.

Mass storage is so cheap I just go biy another drive rather than cleaning up old files :)

I got the 3 drives used for $100CDN each so that would be about $187.5US altogether.

That's wierd, the forum censors the word ***** (p-e-n-i-s) ;).
That's not really a swear word. ARN'T you getting a little carried away there ARN? :D
