Macbook (2008?) cable for second screen

Hi,

I have a white macbook (i think i bought it in 2008 but not sure), and I want a cable to plug into a second monitor. However there are a few different cables in their store, does anyone know which cable is correct for the white macbook?

Mini DVI
Mini DVI is a digital common interface on the later G4 12" PowerBook, on Intel iMacs till 2009 and on the white and black pre-Unibody MacBooks and on Intel Mac minis before they changed the design to Unibody.
