Sony DCR-HC 42?

I need to get a new miniDV camcorder, I am looking at the Sony DCR-HC 42 what do you think? the best UK price i can find is about £385.

Any other suggestions for less than £400 ($750us)? I need miniDV, DV in/out & analog video in/out so I can use it as a DV bridge.
