Hello,

I'm selling my black 64GB iPad 2 (wifi only) at the weekend to someone I know for £380 cash in hand, but they want proof of purchase so he can put it on his bank policy or something...

I don't have my original receipt, but if I go into my local Apple Store, will they be able to use the serial number on my iPad to print off a new one? Or will I have to go about it a different way?

Thank you

Thanks a lot 🙂 Will the banks accept this as proof of purchase so he can put it on his bank policy (what ever that is...)?

I'm new to this kind of thing!

I would think so, it's the official Apple proof of registration. I have sold stuff and provided the buyer with copies of this type and they have always been fine.

Thank you, I'll explain this to him.

Thanks a lot for your help, I would have been completely stuck!
