I see so many complaints about Wifi problems under Lion, yet I've never had any. Wifi has been rock solid both at home with my Time Capsule, and on the Cisco-based campus network where I work. In fact, it's been FASTER under Lion than it was under Snow Leopard!

Typically the theory is that people post when they have something to complain about, which would explain the deluge of "My Wifi is broke under Lion!" posts. But I wonder how many people are running with absolutely no problems, like I am?

I have a Mid 2010 Macbook, and ever since I have updated to lion my wifi will time out for a few seconds. I will be talking on trillian and all of a sudden it says Disconnected. About a min or less it is connected again. I have been to a few locations and this has happened, so I know it is not my router at home.

I've seen wifi fail to wake up/reconnect on the late 2010 MBA we have (had to disable/re-enable wifi to get it working).

It is still slow to wake up now, but it reconnects just fine (airport extreme/airport express network). I think a firmware or OS update fixed it.

A friend with a 2011 13" MBA also had wifi issues on lion.

Current MBPs seem to be solid on lion from what I've seen (no problems on my early 2011 15" pro, or a friends late 2011 15" pro)

Lion is fine on my mid 2007 spec mini (zero issues).

There are problems out there, i think if you're an MBA user you were more likely to have them...

No problems here. Due to the layout of my space, WiFi is my only connection. The few times it does go down, i've been able to verify that it was the Access Point that was the issue.

No issues on my 802.11n early 2008 Macbook but my wife's Mac mini had nothing but problems with its 802.11g and I finally gave up and ran gigabit ethernet to her machine.

Purchased a MBP, early 2011 in march/april last year.
Did have a few issues, about 1 month after purchase.
Got a few updates and haven't had a problem since.
All good.

:knocksonwood: Wifi is about the only thing that ISN"T causing me issues in Lion (late 2006 MBP, 2.16GHz C2D w/ ATI X1600 video card, maxed-out 3 GB RAM). Even after my machine freezes (a daily occurrence), wifi re-connects w/ no issues. At least there's something that hasn't been mostly negative when it comes to Lion, for me.
