hi, i just bought a LaCie minimus 1TB hard drive and i can't set it up because when i try to it says powerpc applications are no longer supported. i looked online and can't find anything and don't know what to do :mad:

What application are you trying to run?

You should be able to use Disk Utility to initialize and configure the external drive.

If you're trying to use software that came with the drive, don't! You don't need any 3rd party apps, especially any PowerPC apps, to format your drive. As maflynn said, use Disk Utility, which is in your /Applications/Utilities folder.
