I liked on Lion that my computer autocorrected my words for my in an iOS fashion (e.g. changes cant to can't). This seems to be off in 10.8...anyone else experiencing this or know how to turn this on?

Only certain apps seem to use it. TextEdit uses it, but I have not seen Mail doing or a few other apps.
Try it in TextEdit to see if it still does it
