20in late 2006 iMac as a display for current mac mini

Can the older 20in Late 2006 iMac be used just as a display for current mac mini. This will be the cheapest way to get a Mountain Lion supported system.
 
Hi,

I do not think this is possible as the iMac in question has no " video in " connection / option.
