In Lion when you get your mac to sleep connected to a external monitor and you open the lid the macbook screen automatically goes back. its the same in ML?, hope not

This seems like the appropriate behavior, so I would bet it is the same in Mountain Lion.

I prefer the SL behavior, i like to work with my cinema display and the lid open. The macbook pro its so hot closed

Just in case you didn't know, heres a way to change the behavior back to 10.6 way in lion.

Thanks i didn't know, im in SL now, im looking forward to ML, hope at least the option to ungroup apps in Mission Control.
