Any reason for a guest network if...

A guest network is kind of convenient if you have guests that come to the house and want to use internet. You don't have to give them your secret keys.
If I have guests staying with me for a few days I rename the guest network to something special for them as well as the password.
We do exactly the same thing. We have someone house sit for us whenever we travel... and set the guest account for their use.

I wonder about this as well. I have my wireless printer connected to my main network and it is shared from my Mini. Is there any way to let people on the guest network use it as well so I dont have to give them my real network password?
Some possibilities
Send to you to print or
Have them plug in via USB cable
Use web print for HP printers meaning you set up your printer for web print and they email the attachment to the web ID and it automatically prints

The in-laws keep coming over with windows computers and mobiles.
Wifi network throughput I've found with trojan filled windows machines can effect our internal network, especially for home theatre stuff, so having them ring-fenced in a guest network seems logical, just bouncing them straight out to the net.
