I'm glad I submitted this. And I wish my commencement speaker (and the speakers at all the other graduations I've been to) were as entertaining, and BRIEF, as Steve was.

Very nice... Thanks for posting it.
I have the speech (written form) saved and this is just a bonus.
I was hoping to hear the whole speech when it was posted before.. but it was only less than 3 mintues long...
One really well said speech..
Thanks again

Tell me about it. At my graduation, the speaker I had spoke for an hour about non-sense ... plus it was 90 degrees that day and no shade for my guest. We clapped at the end so much because we were glad it was over, not that it was good.

A very good speech, indeed. I wish there was a video; I can just picture him pacing back and forth as if he was giving a keynote. Plus after the third story, I was expecting "one more thing..."
What a lucky bunch of graduates.

I went to UAA's graduation not that long ago, and it was so long that a friend and I got on our cell phones and ordered pizzas from the bleachers.
