I know the phrase is "you either love it or you hate it", but I'm somewhere in the middle.

I don't hate it, I like it. If it's too thick on toast I find it quite un-pallatable (sp?). I like it very thin on my toast. It's very salty, but it tastes cracking when you get back from the pub.. :rolleyes:

Marmite/Bovil/Vegemite whatever is absolutely minging (translation from english to american: gross, disgusting, wouldn't give it to my dog).

However, Marmite and hot water makes an excellent drink :p AMAZING if you have stomach/bowel problems ;) ;) ;)

I just had marmite on toast for breakfast this morning. (Thinly spread, on coolish toast with butter.) Strange to see this thread, because I haven't eaten it for a year or so. It was absolutely delicious. :)

Well, to be honest I don't either love it or hate - I quite like it sometimes but it can be a bit much at times.

I remember when I was younger and got ill the only thing my mum would let me eat would be 'marmite on toast' :D
