New to icloud

Hi I just setup my iCloud but it seems that I can only view my previous appointments on ical. and not every appointment on my iPhone shows up on ical.

I have also entered 'iCloud testing' on ical but it doesn't show up on my phone. Am I missing something here?

Sounds like it isn't setup right on at least one of your devices. Needs to be added as an account on both your Mac and your iOS devices. Once you have that setup it should give you an opportunity to merge any existing data with iCloud.

THis is frustrating and totally not apple-like. I am able to view my phone contacts on the iCloud website. But nothing on the calendar. !?

Yes I did. FOllowed it to a 'T'. However the only thing that's working right now are contacts between www.icloud.com and my iPhone. calendar is not responding.

Thanks I will read up. See I thought iCloud is going to be simple and hassle free and that I won't have to go through a bunch of research to get it up and running. I'll try.. 🙁🙁

I thought the same thing. My wife and I wanted to share calendars but not necessarily everything else. Well, we ended up sharing all calendars and all contacts for a while. A little trial and error and we figured it out. You will too.
