Hello.
I an trying to use the iPad for the same tasks that I used my late MBook Pro.
This involves receiving, editing, forwarding and printing .xls and .pdf documents.

Mariner is doing a good job on Excel.
I am seeing through GoodReader and GoDocs.
Print to PDF works once you understand its anatomy.

But I faced a problem receiving a filled .pdf form from my accountant.
There was no text, just the form unfilled.
Back at home I opened the very same email with my iMac and the form was adequately filled. This is a problem for me.

I have been trying various PDF readers bun none of them has been able to read the text.

Where might the glitch be? Ideas, anyone?
