I pretty much want to install OS X on my new drive, i was just wondering if i need a cd key for it? I mean like do i need a serial or anything to install OS X? And how can i create a bootdisk in OS X? i mean like the installation cd for Os X?

The only reason you would need to know this is if you pirated it.

Wierd isn't it when I had a PC I never bought the OS, bought every one (from 9 to 10.4) for my macs.. guess I'm confident that when I part with my cash it's gonna work well. :)

Just by OSX.. like the others I never bought Windows, but paying £58 for Tiger for my Mac Mini was easily worth it. They are a good company that does good things. Why make them suffer?

to answer your question:
no, every tiger DVD is identical, you can send your mac into applecare with a pirated version of 10.4 on and even if they were trying to find out if you pirated it they could not.
as for makeing a boot disk use bootcd (http://www.charlessoft.com/)
