M Muscle macrumors regular Original poster Mar 3, 2012 #1 Been eyeing the WD my passport studio & G drive slim. Ones firewire @ 0.7" thick while the other is USB but 0.4" thin. Are there any external hardrives out there that supports firewire slimmer than WD mypassport studio?

MacForScience macrumors 6502 Mar 5, 2012 #2 Checkout Apricorn, I currently use a USB drive the size of a deck of cards from them for my Macbook Air (shock protected and all). I used to have a FireWire one that was a bit bigger. They seem to make good products, but they can be pricey. Cheers
