Hi,

Today I was in the Apple Store and found out my MacBook has no serial number. I bought it recently for 100 euro's and installed an SSD (vertex 3) and an new black topcase. I wanted to go for a black bezel at the Apple Store. That makes it a black (on the inside) white macbook. Pretty awesome looking.

Little fun project.

Anyway, see the picture for what I mean. They did not know either.

Take it back to Apple. They can reset your serial number. If the first person you talked to didn't know this, talk to someone else. This happens during some repairs, but it's easily fixable.
