What's the expression?
Often imitated but never duplicated.
Get in line BT.

If its run by BT it's bound to be crap - look at everything else they do. And the bit about "users are willing to pay more for extra services"? Rubbish. £1.50 - £2.50 for a music download? When I can get it from iTMS for 79p and transfer it (even if I have to break the DRM) - give me a break.

Anybody who may have had the misfortune to use BT will know they are probably the worst telecommuncations company in the world. Infact I'd go so far as saying that they beat M$ for underhand behaviour toward customers and the Telcom industry at large.

Meanwhile, my Telstra connection went faster than usual, thanks to a nice empty network :D

Note this is not really taking on the iPod. It is offering live TV and radio to mobile phones with downloads just one of many services.
Unless of course iPods have suddenly become able to download data wherever they are and have become capable of playing television broadcasts.

I have to say Telstra are the worst. Example, our exchange recently got ADSL enabled, we wanted to use TPG as the ISP, but a few weeks passed since signing up, and then Telstra told us we cant get ADSL due to unspecified problems. So we decided to try signing up to Telstra's BigPond, within a few days we had ADSL from Telstra.
This is as bad as MS, Telstra using their monopoly to illegally gain customers. The government should have never ever sold Telstra.

Yeah, I've heard that they're pretty bad over there. Interestingly, the roles seem to be reversed here. Telstra are the good guys, and Telecom (AAPT) are the bad guys

Meh, as much as I hate Telecom. It works out cheaper with our 2mb line.
