iPod touch How are the current iPod Touches performing on iOS5(.1)?

Considering the iPod Touch is still with the A4 processor and 256MB of RAM, how is it performing with iOS5 (now iOS5.1)?

Are they slow in the Apple Store? Who would want to buy something that is slow when just on display in a store? My iPad 1 has the same hardware as the Touch and is slow on iOS5...

Mine is doing great! There is no longer text entry hesitation in Safari or the App Store, I haven't had Safari crash on me yet. (Safari would crash with anything more than 2 tabs open on mine) I'll update as I use it more!

Edit: The Bookmarks no longer popup when you open Safari, which is awesome!

i think mine froze. the load screen with the apple and the status bar has been there like a good 5 min and i haven't seen it move at all. ugh!

I actually didn't really mean iOS5.1, I mean how are iPod Touches handling iOS5 on display in-store?
