Just wanted to let folk know about a new app and device for the iPhone, iBGStar

Its a blood glucose meter for the iPhone which is to be honest fantastic

I have been waiting for something like this since Apple showed the Lifescan BT monitor at an iOS keynote a few years ago. I don't believe the iBGStar is available in the US yet. The most important thing will be how much the test strips will cost and whether insurance plans will cover them.

I believe in the uk the nhs have strips on prescription

Also worth adding if you are type 1, you get it VAT free (£40) when you tell boots

Ibgstar meter

Just wonder if any one has one? and what do you think of it?
Iv had mine a few weeks now and still cant make my mind up about it.
Why do i say that will i seem to be getting high reading from it, I have 6 meters and not two will read the same from the same blood.
Now Im starting to use the add test. and found the programme crashes on my iphone 4S. Any one have the same?
would love to hear from any one that uses this meter
