Thinking about it... It's super close to my work. It's always a toss up between UTC and Fashion for Apple iDevice launches. Fashion = bigger store = more stock.

Also condider Fashion = bigger crowd = longer line = longer wait.
I usually goto UTC or North County for launches. UTC ran out of iPhone 3g's but otherwise I've been out of the store within 15min after sales start.

Good point. Chances are a bit better if you manage to get in early.
Last year, three weeks after launch... lines were still forming in the mornings. I was at UTC and they had ~25 iPads with 50+ people in line. Nabbed #23.
I have a feeling its not gonna be as bad due to pre-orders this year... but you'll never know.
