I'm feeling dumb today and my Googling efforts have come up nil. Does anyone know how to find out who the owner of an Internet domain is? I see people post info like that every once in awhile. How can I get it?

Thanks!

whois

You can access whois with Terminal.app (type whois domain.top) or the whois Dashboard widget if you have Tiger or one of many internet sites offering the service, e.g. http://www.whois.net/

Edit: Only the first of these three suggestions work with my .no domain, but the other two seems to work with .com, .net, .org, etc...

I'm glad it worked great for you, but just keep in mind that many people give false information when registering their site.
