Whats the best material for a ipad case, if you leave out the rule; the thicker the better?
I have ordered a polycarbonate case wich is very thin, will that make my ipad survive crash(on likelyhood, not on 100% guarantee) on lets say a half meter drop on concrete?(dont care about damage to the case)
Or is there a other material wich should work better?

Please give me some insight into the matter, thanks.

I've always prefered TPU rubber (not silicone) type cases. Hard shells to me don't seem to have as much "shock" protection as a rubberized case but that's just me.
