iOS installation problem

Hello guys,

i am new to mac system and new to iphone development , i have downloaded "xcode_3.2.6_and_ios_sdk_4.3" for my mac os x 10.7.2 and i have installed but i dont find any xcode in applications folder or any where how can i run that xcode app. please suggest me if went any thing wrong.

ya actually i also seen some xcode related file , what i need is how can i run xcode . some body told me to run by xcode.app , i search for that but i did found please help to start an app
 
Just a quick question, why download such an old Xcode for OSX Lion, specific reason? otherwise try upgrading to the Free Xcode 4 from the Apple Store on your OSX Lion.

Should be /Developer/Applications/Xcode.app
 
Hello jnoxx,

My mac os x version is 10.7.2 , i tried with xcode 4 but its not working it asks for 10.7.3 version so i am using that version of xcode , please suggest me if you have any better version of xcode for 10.7. 2 which comes with iphone ios for making iphone app.

i checked in that path also i didn`t found any xcode.app , please let me know where might be the problem with installer or any other else

Thanks for your suggestion i am updating my mac os, Can please provide me download link for xcode which comes with ios for iphone app. for my new version .
 
You can download it for free from The Mac app store.
Upper left of your screen, press Apple, then Appstore, there you can download Xcode if you have an Apple ID.
Otherwise I think you can find it under http://developer.apple.com and then go to downloads.

Finally i got installed with xcode 4.3.1 and it has ios simulator too , Its very interesting . But i dont no how to start developing applications so can you please help me in developing sample apps with some clear tutorials .
 
Hello guys,

I am trying to run a sample application from some tutorials , Hello world example but while following those steps , i dont find Helloworldviewcontr.xib which they ask me to select . please suggest me
