I was wondering if there was some special driver I needed to download in order for Windows 98 to run with 256 colors on Parallels Desktop 7? It currently will only run Windows 98 on 16-colors, and does not support 256. Is there some kind of driver I need to find in order for it to properly emulate 256 colors or higher? (trying to run some old games on it that won't run properly on XP or higher)

Oh, BTW, I am running it on my early 2009 MacBook with OS X 10.7.3 Lion

Have you installed the Parallels Software in your Win98 VM?

I tried; all I get for "Video" in the "Win9x" folder is the "PrlVideo.inf" file, no setup .exe or instructions of whatever. Could I have an outdated Parallels Tool .ISO for it?

Ah, I have solved the problem! I needed Windows 98's video adapter changer unit to find them!
Now to try and get the sound working...
