I feel there's a lack of retina apps and new games. Last year we had Real Racing 2 HD and they updated it this year with an update. Why no Real Racing 3 HD? Really disappointed Need for Speed the run got cancelled for Ipod/Ipad too.

Apple have made a section in iTunes with apps that are great to showcase the retina display: http://itunes.apple.com/us/collection/great-apps-for-the-new-ipad/id29700?fcId=510386231&mt=8

One thing, it's only been out for just over a week... Give developers a break here.

Another thing, developers may be submitting updates but apple still has to approve them. This process takes time.

It was a simpler world.

Its going to take time to develop/test/optimize games that take full advantage of the new hardware. Tack on the Apple review process, and it may be a good month of two before we see many games that take full advnatage of the new hardware.

Give it a few. I have a feeling there are a lot of apps still pending for review by Apple or the developers are busy still working on and optimizing their apps for the new display.

Not every dev would have had access to the new iPad before launch, so many of them would have to wait until they have one before they can start updating their apps. Then you need to allow for the time it takes them to do this and test and then submit to Apple for approval (as others have stated).

Give it time, it could be a month or so before the trickle of iPad retina apps turns into a flood.
