Posting from a mobile device so excuse me
I'm on the road in a coach bus nowhere near my laptop. I decided to pull out my iPod to listen to music when all my music was suddenly gone. I have no idea how all the sudden it was all gone. I'm going over 500 miles away from my computer so I have no access so if there is any remedy at all please tell me! :(

Unfortunately there's no way to recover it unless you're near your laptop. It should still be in your iTunes library.

You could recover some of it using the iTunes app and going to purchased items? Would require a wifi connection tho. (you must have one, I'm guessing you posted from it?)

It's not a great help but at least you could get maybe a few albums back for your time away from pc

Is it safe to say you've tried resetting it several times...? It's possible it's just not displaying the music... does your device still have x GB taken up by the music?
