Hey everyone, I am new here and have a question. I got my first MacBook, its a air 13". How can I install Word? I need to write stuff for my universtiy and this Textnoteprogramm is not working on Windows...

Use an external DVD drive, use DVD sharing from a networked computer, or download it from Microsoft and activate it with your product key :)

You can download the ISO image from the Microsoft site, and simply mount it (ie. double click it) and install as if you were using a .dmg file.

For me, my university offers microsoft office free to students with a Mac. I just took my air in and they loaded Microsoft Office via USB in about 5 minutes.
Check to see if your college has this program, I know most do.

I bought and downloaded Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 fright from Amazon's website.
