I recently reinstalled Tiger on my PB G4 12", but it seems that it cannot access WPA2 networks, or in my case, an Airport Extreme Base Station configured with WPA2 Personal. It shows on the wireless menu, but it won't connect, and when I try to manually input the details, I can only see WPA Personal. Would I have to reinstall Leopard to get WPA2 access?

IIRC, WPA2 is implemented by firmware, so there is no way for the PB to access WPA2.

That can't be, as I had no issues accessing the base station under Leopard.

Which PB do you have? What is the CPU speed?

EDIT: Search shows that the software that comes with the base station can update the network card.

By software, you mean AirPort Utility? I'm going to try downloading the latest that supports Tiger and come back. Thanks.

Yeah, give that a shot.

Actually, downloading the Combo Update via Ethernet did the trick. Thanks for the help either way!
