I'd love to buy this but it seems to be made for the first generation iPad. Does anybody know of a similar luxury sleeve?

The graphite checkered pattern is the male design. What you gotta pray your girlfriends don't find is the one on the right:

I called around Yorkville (Toronto's Fifth Avenue). Louis Vuitton said that these iPad sleeves were for the iPad 1. The iPad 2 cases are folio style. I'm looking for something to put the iPad away and carry under my arm but when in use, I want the iPad naked.

Hugo Boss in Yorkville said that they have a slip case so I'll have to pay them a visit. The search is on!

I really like that Killspencer. Incase may be nice, but I don't believe it fits in the designer luxury category at all.

Think of a fashion brand that makes designer clothing and then apply that to an iPad case as a fashion accessory. Examples would be BOSS, Armani, J Lindberg, Calvin Klein, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Zegna etc.

If I can't find a suitable one in those brands, I think I'll have a look at that Killspencer. Thanks.

Here are some great examples of designer iPad cases:

Dolce & Gabbana

Dior Homme

Givenchy

The more I look, the $400 Louis Vuitton seems to be the middle of the road pricing for these. In my searches, I've found more than a few for over $1000.

i was actually thinking of the ipad LV... but it doesnt come in DM only the monogram.. and after having used it in a folio for a day I kinda dont like the thickness of it, adds alot of bulk for home use.

An update: I went to the Louis Vuitton store and found the newest folio case along with this slip cover. They're both of very very good quality. It's hard to explain unless you handle it yourself. The workmanship is excellent and it looks to be made of durable materials. It's worth the $400 if you're willing to shell out for it. Unfortunately, the slip cover is for the iPad1 and so both the iPad 2 and new iPad would fall right out. I'm looking for a tight grip.

I am not gonna lie, but to spend that much for a case, I would rather buy a second iPad and just use that if the other gets messed up.
